Removable star finial - but it looks a little bare without something at the top. The color is durable, gold painted, rich-looking matte gold. The hanging heights are 5"-14". You can hang up to 20 ornaments 2-1/2" in diameter or less, or, up to 12 ornaments 4" or larger .  It has 12 branches and is 26" at its' widest diameter. The arms are all stationary.  This tree arrives in three threaded sections. Sections screw together along the center pole. The finial star is on a small pole and wrapped separately inside. No other finial is available. Some minor assembly is required. Instructions are provided.  Decorating Ideas We have ornament hangers that will look beautiful with your new tree. Remove the star finial to display the tree after the Christmas holiday. But, we think it looks a little "naked" without something in the top. Creatively replace the finial with a small spray of silk flowers or leaves to use as a centerpiece at a wedding, etc. (The center is open at the base and will not hold water.) Weave a sheer 1"or 2" wide ribbon between the hanging loops for a beautiful accent.
